Oregon Light
High-efficiency LED aquatic fixtures engineered for extreme hydrostatic pressure and saline endurance.
Ningbo Oregon Light Co., Ltd. was established in 2013 and specializes in the research, development, manufacturing, and global distribution of LED pool lighting and outdoor lighting solutions. Since its foundation, the company has been dedicated to delivering high-quality, energy-efficient, and environmentally responsible lighting products. With a strong focus on innovation, consistent quality, and customer satisfaction, we have earned a solid reputation in the international lighting industry.
Over the years, we have continuously increased our investment in research and development, as well as in advanced production technologies. This commitment has enabled us to successfully design and manufacture a diverse portfolio of LED pool lights and outdoor lighting fixtures that meet the evolving needs of modern markets. Our products are widely recognized for their excellent energy efficiency, superior waterproof and safety performance, long lifespan, and eco-friendly materials. They are extensively used in residential swimming pools, commercial facilities, hotels, resorts, and landscape lighting projects around the world.
Navigating the transition from passive LED fixtures to intelligent, structurally resin-encapsulated, thermomechanically balanced aquatic systems.
Eliminating the air cavity inside the luminaire housing is the ultimate barrier against water ingress due to negative thermal pressure. Structural resin encapsulation (using high-clarity polyurethane or optical-grade silicone) coats the entire PCBA, ensuring zero water penetration even if an outer mechanical seal fails under 5 bar pressure.
Underwater LEDs operate in unique thermal conditions. While water acts as a heat sink, stagnation and high ambient water temperatures (e.g., thermal spas at 40°C) degrade LED emitters rapidly. We integrate Metal Core PCBs (MCPCB) with high thermal conductivity (>3.0 W/m-K) directly bonded to Marine Grade SS316L housings.
Modern aquatic environments require dynamic scene orchestration. Our proprietary driver electronics support high-speed pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming over DMX512/RDM, alongside low-frequency RF and Wi-Fi mesh control bridges designed for low signal attenuation in liquid media.
| Housing Material Class | Pitting Resistance (PREN) | Chlorine & Salinity Endurance | Thermal Dissipation Capacity | Recommended Application Depth |

| High-Structure ABS + UV Polycarbonate | N/A (Polymer Matrix) | Immune to Chemical Oxidation | 0.2 W/m·K (Requires Fluid Cavity) | 0 to 5 Meters (Nicheless Pool Light) |
| Die-Cast Aluminum with Marine Powder Coating | 15.0 - 18.0 | Moderate (Requires 1000hr Salt Spray Shield) | 96.0 W/m·K (Rapid Heat Transfer) | 0 to 2 Meters (Surface Landscape/Pool Boundary) |
Underwater lighting installation is strictly governed by global electrical safety codes due to the lethal risks associated with high voltage in aqueous environments. Directives such as IEC 60598-2-18 (Luminaires for swimming pools and similar applications) and UL676 mandate Safety Extra Low Voltage (SELV) operation—typically 12V AC or 24V DC.
Our OEM spotlights incorporate dual-chamber isolation, isolated SELV transformers, and built-in thermal shutoff sensors. Below is the official safety zone layout for swimming pools and spray pools, outlining the critical protection requirements (Zone 0, Zone 1, and Zone 2) that our engineering designs strictly fulfill.
How Ningbo Oregon Light Co., Ltd. combines precision CNC automation, automated resin encapsulation lines, and rigorous hydrostatic QA testing.
We offer B2B clients tailored OEM solutions. From custom bezel faceplates in antique bronze brass to ultra-thin SS316 nicheless designs, our modular CNC toolsets allow rapid physical prototype generation within 10 to 14 days, drastically reducing time-to-market for pool builders and distributors.
Every luminaire coming off our assembly line undergoes a 100% two-stage testing process: high-pressure hydrostatic chamber immersion at 0.6 MPa (equivalent to 60m depth) for 4 hours, followed by a continuous 48-hour burn-in thermal test cycle under full electrical load.
Situated in Ningbo, one of the world's largest logistics and shipping hubs, Ningbo Oregon Light leverages direct access to raw material ecosystems (marine-grade stainless steel, high-brightness Cree/Bridgelux LED chips, MeanWell drivers), ensuring stable supply chain resilience and optimal pricing.
Essential technical considerations for commercial aquatic architects, pool OEMs, and lighting wholesalers when specifying underwater spotlights.
When transmitting low voltage (AC12V / DC24V) over long cable runs (e.g., 50FT, 100FT, 150FT), voltage drop can result in uneven illumination or color shifts across multiple lamps. We calculate optimal copper conductor cross-sections (AWG 14 to AWG 10) and integrate wide-input-range constant-current drivers inside our lamp heads to compensate for line resistance up to 50 meters.
Modern pool design is shifting rapidly toward nicheless surface-mounted lights. Nicheless lights require only a 1.5-inch wall pipe fit or standard wall bracket, eliminating complex pool wall cutouts, reducing labor costs, and eliminating potential leak points in concrete/liner pools. Our OEM product line features universal mounting plates compatible with major brand niches (Pentair, Hayward, Jandy) as well as direct-wall nicheless systems.
