Pultruded fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) grating is durable, corrosion resistant, and low maintenance for challenging environments. Manufactured with approximately 70% fiberglass rovings and 30% resin, pultruded gratings safely support industrial and pedestrian loads on longer spans. Produced by drawing fiberglass rovings and mats through a resin bath and heated dies, bearing bars and cross bars are then mechanically and chemically locked with a recessed tie bar.
Molded FRP gratings are manufactured in one-piece construction, resulting in a bi-directionally strong product. High resin content (65% by volume) ensures maximum chemical resistance in caustic environments.
