Product Description

KOI POND FILTRATION SYSTEM

The intelligent box-type microfilter is constructed from non-toxic, corrosion-resistant food-grade PP material. The system integrates a box assembly, drum assembly, reverse cleaning system, electric control box, and transmission system. Designed for water flows ≤10m³/h, it utilizes a 316 stainless steel filter to separate suspended solids (≥50 μm). As water enters the drum, particles are intercepted, allowing clean water to flow through the outlet to the next stage.

Featuring automatic liquid level control, the system monitors water levels. When debris accumulates and hinders permeability, the rising water level triggers the high-pressure cleaning pump and drive system. The drum rotates while nozzles provide continuous cleaning, discharging waste into a collection groove. The equipment utilizes a fully intelligent turbine frequency conversion pump for energy efficiency and powerful circulation.

Installation Instructions
  • Place the microfilter on a stable, level surface.
  • Can be installed in-line or supplied via water tower/pump; valves should be installed before and after to adjust levels.
  • Ensure a height difference at the sewage outlet for efficient dirt discharge.
  • The outlet pipe requires a height gradient to maintain water velocity.
  • Check that the cleaning pump inlet is submerged to avoid idling damage.
  • Motor Connection: Connect capacitor wires to motor leads (Black is Zero; Red/White for power). Drum must rotate clockwise when viewed from the outlet side.

Operation & Maintenance

Automatic Mode: Controlled by a float ball switch. When the water level triggers the probe, the backwash cycle starts for a pre-set duration.

Manual Mode: Allows independent operation of the drum and cleaning pump for testing or manual flushing.

Precautions: Use indoors between -5°C to 40°C. Avoid rain and icing. Never run the pump dry. Regularly inspect nozzles for blockage to ensure optimal spray patterns.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What materials are used in the drum filter's construction?
The main body is made of non-toxic, food-grade PP material, while the filter screen is crafted from 316 stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance.
Q2: How fine is the filtration capability?
The system is designed to intercept and separate suspended solids in water that are 50 μm or larger.
Q3: Is this equipment suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, the PP structure is designed for a lifespan of over 10 years and is resistant to UV exposure, high temperatures, and rain. However, avoid icing conditions.
Q4: How does the automatic backwash system trigger?
The equipment uses a liquid level float ball switch. When debris blocks the screen and the water level rises to the probe point, the cleaning pump and drum rotation start automatically.
Q5: What are the primary applications for this microfilter?
It is ideal for solid-liquid separation in koi ponds, various aquaculture farms, factory culture systems, and early-stage sewage treatment.
Q6: What should I check if the backwash nozzles stop spraying?
Regularly inspect the nozzles for blockages. If they fail to spray, remove them to clear debris or replace them with new nozzles to maintain filtration efficiency.
